TERMS OF SERVICE

DISCLAIMER

Orders and products are subject to the terms of service outlined in this text. By placing an order with Second Empire Surfaces (SES) and authorizing payment, the customer agrees to the terms regarding products, payment, shipping, and service outlined herein.

LEAD TIMES

Each wallcovering is made-to-order and lead times vary based on material availability, order volume, and the shipping destination.

Lead time on standard orders is approximately 4 weeks. For custom orders, expect a lead time of approximately 8 weeks.

Lead times provided by SES are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. SES also cannot guarantee shipping times due to delays caused by customs, weather, holidays, or events outside of our control.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Orders are shipped within Canada via Canada Post at the standard parcel rate. For international orders, a carrier will be selected based on the location and volume of order.

Special shipping requests may be accommodated upon request, however, fees or charges incurred as a result are the responsibility of the customer. Final shipping costs will be calculated once your order is placed. Contact SES directly for a more detailed shipping estimate.

PRODUCT INSPECTION & INSTALLATION

All labels shall be checked for accuracy by the customer to ensure that the shipment is received as ordered. Before cutting, examine goods to make certain pattern color is satisfactory. The customer/installer should have a sample of the wallcovering pattern for comparison.

If no defect is evident before installation, the material should be inspected after three (3) panels are installed. If any defect is evident at this time (or any point of the installation) no further material should be applied and SES should be contacted IMMEDIATELY.

If the wallcovering is installed in a manner other than that recommended by SES, it is done at the sole risk of the customer. Proper maintenance of products is essential to their appearance and longevity.

COST QUOTES

Cost quotes provided by SES should be regarded as estimates only and are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

CUSTOMS, TARRIFS, & DUTY CHARGES

SES will not be responsible for any duty or tax charges incurred upon orders. Duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency of the designated delivery country and although they are not always incurred, they will be the responsibility of the recipient. Customers placing international orders should provide their VAT and EORI numbers, if possible.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of payment. Cancellations will not be accepted after this 24-hour period has lapsed. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once they are placed.

RETURNS

SES does not accept returns as all products are made-to-order.
