Hazel May Eckert is a Canadian artist and designer based in Ottawa, ON. She makes work about encountering images. “Failed,” frozen, or partially rendered images create blurry, digital mirages of people, places and moments. Images that have not fully resolved or loaded gel into beautiful, contemplative washes of colour.
